MISSION: Emergence’s Belize mission team works closely with local missionaries in the Belmopan area to serve and bless the Las Flores community. Our ministries in Belize have included running Vacation Bible School and literacy and math camp for local children, as well as assisting with local sewing and construction projects, and the community food pantry. Our ultimate goal, however, is to build relationships with the individuals we meet, and to share and represent the Gospel through witnessing, prayer, and acts of kindness. The trip itself is a one-week commitment in July with additional communication and meetings in the months preceding the trip to pray, prepare, and foster fellowship among our mission team. While there, we will primarily be hosted by Michelle Stockman of World Outreach Ministries, who has been serving in Belize for 20 years. MISSION: The general mission of this trip is to catch the vision of our work in Cambodia and Thailand, to learn about the evil of child sex trafficking and see the ways Destiny Rescue is working to restore children’s lives. We want to help you gain a deep understanding of the issues surrounding child sex trafficking and what you can do to end it! We would really hope to inspire and empower you to make a difference long-term. When you return home, you’ll be armed with the education and passion to continue working to end child exploitation and your stories could even inspire your family, friends, church and coworkers to join the cause. You can think of this trip as more of a vision trip with the purpose is not necessarily to do ministry activity, but rather to explore the challenges and opportunities for long-term ministry in a different culture and what you can do at home to help.
 WHAT WILL WE DO?
 You will have the chance to meet and get to know the rescued girls and the volunteers and staff who are fighting to end child sex trafficking. You will visit a red light district and see the environment we’re rescuing girls from. You will also be able to get a better sense of the culture by visiting some of the major cultural sites and eating some delicious Thai and Cambodian foods. MISSION: Our team will partner with a small church in a village outside Havana for a special Youth Week. We have the opportunity to work with kids, teens and young adults growing up in a country where Christians make up a scant minority. From guest speakers to music to small group discussions to field trips to games and activities, the week is full of impact and FUN! We will share and sing and laugh and pray and connect with other believers across all cultural barriers. And we will be BLESSED!

MISSION: Love & Hope has been the work of God’s Kingdom here on earth for 17 years.  Rachel Klubnik established Love & Hope in 2003 after finding a child in a dumpster during a community outreach project in El Salvador, and saw other several children abandoned with no place to live.  Since then Love & Hope has provided food, shelter, safety, education, and the love of Jesus to over 30 children from infancy throughout adulthood.  Love and Hope views the home and its network of sponsors and supporters as a family. For many years, teams and long term volunteers have been instrumental in the development and success of their home.  Our team will have the opportunity to raise money for the home, connect with the teens and staff, and be used by the lord to shine his light in the home and community through a community work project.

MISSION: “Want to positively impact the lives of at-risk youth? Join us in Hungary this summer to help lead a Bible-based daycamp at a large children’s home! You will have the opportunity to serve by teaching Bible and life skills lessons, leading worship, planning and leading games and sports, running arts and crafts, or many other opportunities. The youth are starving for love and acceptance. Come be a part of being the hands and feet of Jesus to these amazing kids! Many of our youth have one or both parents still living, but for some reason have been removed from the home of their biological parents. We play tons of crazy games, sports, have small groups, and many other activities that help volunteers connect with the youth. GoodSports International Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to reaching children with the love of Christ through sports, recreational and educational activities. We have been reaching youth in orphanages with the love of Jesus in Hungary since 1997. MISSION: CSSM is a two week mission for leaders who will share the gospel in LBI NJ at two daily "VBS style" children's camps.  Leaders are generally high-school and college aged, who can handle long active days, and are willing to commit to all two weeks of the mission. The team fills up rapidly so interested leaders must sign up by the end of February.

MISSION: We are joining with a one of our partner ministries, New City Kids in Paterson NJ.
For an entire week high school student will work with the staff at NCK and help run the summer day camp for inner-city kids. Additionally they will be housed and provided meals at the facility at NCK giving them a much greater sense of the diverse ethnic, social, and economic culture that exists in Paterson. This is sure to be an experience that will stretch our high school with a ministry that is we as a church already partner with and gives student the opportunity to continue serving beyond their time on the trip.

MISSION: Besides it being a 22 hour flight, 12 time zones away, with weather like Hawaii, few people think of the Philippines as a vast country, but it has over 7,000 islands. Every populated island has its own culture. Languages in the Philippines are as diverse as Europe. Fortunately for Americans, Filipino is probably the easiest language in the world to learn AND English is an official second national language. For many reasons sending a team from Emergence to the Philippines is important. 1) It is a strategic missionary sending country where our own Emergence missionaries since 2004 played a part in establishing the Church Multiplication Coalition (CMC). The CMC has been building the Filipino church through skilled evangelism teams composed of a combination of Filipinos and Americans. 2) The gospel is sweeping through the whole Philippines in a special way with teams from Emergence in previous years seeing well over 10,000 people come to the Lord on each mission trip. 3) Economically the Philippines sits near the world average, but in 2010 they set a goal of sending 1 million missionaries by the end of 2020, which a far more than average impact on Middle Eastern countries right now. Please pray and consider going to the Philippines to help the CMC do outreaches this year.
