EVERY SINGLE DAY, WE'RE REMINDED OF A VERY SIMPLE FACT:
Emergence does not exist without faithful people sacrificing their time and effort to make it happen.
Emergence is a community of missionaries. None of this can or will work if the church is a place where people go to watch other people do ministry.
If you've been around Emergence, you know we try to keep it simple. The dream is to see people freed up--not at the church, but in their communities--being empowered to carry Jesus with them. With that said, there are a few key areas where faithful people are needed in order to provide this place for worship--and to do it well.
Our teams at Emergence are called IMPACT Teams. That's because we believe one of the best ways to make an impact with your life is to carry out the instruction we are given throughout the New Testament to serve one another:
1 Peter 4:10 ESV
As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace.
Galatians 5:13 ESV
For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.

This team of people leads groups all over our area on various days of the week--welcoming people into their home and facilitating study and discussion

This team serves all the other teams each Sunday with encouragement and refreshments
