First, congratulations! We're sure that the next months of your life are going to be busy ones--and it is important to invest in your marriage prior to your wedding day.

Here at Emergence, we believe that preparing to be married is an essential piece of the pre-wedding plans. This is why in order to be married by a pastor from Emergence, you must participate in pre-marital counseling. If our names are on your certificate, we want to know you've put the work into ensuring a solid marriage. Because of this, we rarely accept requests for marriage if there are less than 4 months until the wedding day.

Wedding preparation is three-fold here. You will walk with other couples through a pre-marital class on Sunday mornings, you will meet up with your officiant for two or more counseling & planning sessions, and if you choose to you can walk in mentorship with one of our Marriage Mentor couples (which we highly encourage).

If you would like to hold your wedding at Emergence, we do open the Ringwood Campus facility for ceremonies. You can request usage of the building on your application.
