CHRIST-CENTERED CONVERSATION.
We live in an information age.
There's more information available to us at our fingertips and in our pockets today than ever before. In fact, so much information is coming to us that it can become completely overwhelming. Every day we are bombarded with news reports, social media protests, limitless and conflicting sources of information, and a constant barrage of opinions. And yes, while information can be, and is often a good thing, how do we decipher fact from fiction? How do we differentiate between truth and lies?
This is especially true when it comes to topics like God and Jesus, faith and religion, spirituality and the Bible. How do we know where to turn for truth, and where can we go to ask the hard questions for which we so earnestly seek answers?
Every year at Emergence, hundreds of college-aged men and women walk through our front doors asking questions like "Who is Jesus?" "How do I know I can trust the Bible?" "Aren't all religions the same?"
Isn't the Church just a means of religious control and closing down free thought?"
While many people look down upon questions like these or condemn folks for voicing their opinions or even doubts about faith, we believe very strongly that it's the hard questions that ultimately lead us to God's truth.
Twenty-Somethings is a ministry that was made for these seekers of truth.
If you're between the ages of 18–29 and have questions of your own, or maybe just want to join a community of people seeking after Jesus, we'd love to welcome you to join us! If you'd like to connect, click here and we'll reach out.
